Welcome to Our New Space!
Unveiled on Sunday 20th September 2026 at a special service of dedication, The Bridge Coffee area is a much-awaited new addition to our building here at Life Church Lichfield. Replacing what used to be the building’s foyer – and after knocking down a few store cupboards – our new coffee area will be open to all to enjoy, no matter whether you are a member of Life Church or not!
A Purpose-Built Coffee Bar Facility
We are delighted to have our new high-end coffee machines installed, with all the facilities necessary to provide you with enjoyable and refreshing drinks.
Free Wi-Fi Available Here!
Whether you’re here for a coffee and a chit-chat, or to don the headphones and focus on important work, there’s free Wi-Fi available for use. We’re proud to have invested in a newly upgraded IT infrastructure, bringing high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the whole building.
No password is required. Just search for The Bridge @ Life Church in your device’s Wi-Fi settings, accept the T&Cs, and away you go!
This Wi-Fi network will also be available for our church members to use during a Sunday service, as well as for other community groups to use throughout the week. A Message From Our Minister, Rev. Steve Speight
“We have carried for some time an ambition to have a permanent coffee area so that people can pause, enjoy a drink, and connect with others. So having raised funds and secured contractors, this summer has seen a transformation within the building to create The Bridge Coffee area. It looks fabulous and we are thrilled at the finished look.”
As Minister for Life Church Lichfield, Rev. Steve Speight has overseen the changes and transformations here at Life Church over many years. The Church has been open to the people of Lichfield and far beyond for well over 60 years. During that time, they have developed their building in Netherstowe Lichfield to serve not only their congregation but also their surrounding community. Week by week, hundreds of people walk into Life Church for U3A events, Lichfield Foodbank, fitness classes, Luncheon Club, Wrigglers group for parents and babies, and many other activities. We haven’t even got as far as mentioning our Sunday gatherings for worship and prayer, which are at the heart of The Church’s existence as a Christian community!
A Donation Café
As a not-for-profit organisation, we will currently be providing our coffee and drinks on a donation basis to allow everyone to enjoy our new space together. We will initially be open Monday to Friday, as well as being open on Sundays as part of our service social gatherings of course!
Those that work from home or remotely can feel free to bring their own laptops and devices, plug in to dedicated power sockets (only available on certain tables by the wall), and connect to our high-speed free Wi-Fi as detailed above. There is also free car parking available on site, alongside many friendly faces in the building who will be around to welcome you!
